Hello and Welcome to volume 2 of The Concourse! A newsletter by stoic da poet.
The Concourse will feature various thoughts & updates from stoic and generally lean towards my collective interests of: culture, climate, cities, coding, creativity, and conversation
For now, I’ll mostly be sharing some updates on various projects. Join me as this continues to evolve.

Take a seat, grab a late night cappuccino, and enjoy!
Initiatives
Updates on ongoing projects, ideas, and endeavors.
DJ ELIXIR and I spun some tunes at our first “official” gig in Boston last Sunday. GoPro clips and pics going up on Instagram soon. Shoutout to Enrique & Jones Avenue for showing up. Follow here: https://www.instagram.com/jacarandadreamin
I made a song using AI… but not the way you think. There is a new angle to the AI revolution that provides LLMs with tools to utilize existing applications. Essentially, an AI API for Chat-GPT. Well, Ableton has one. I used it. Interested? Come back next week for a write-up.
Two songs with a good friend and long-time collaborator out of Austria - benjo. - have finally made their way to streaming: 3trak & Mobb. Both deserve some proper promotion but we all know that’s the hard part. You can listen here: https://song.link/mobb and https://album.link/3trak
Ambitions
New and shiny ideas or prolonged contracts with no ends
I am slowly getting ready to begin interviewing for jobs again. This week begins system design prep.
I owe like 13 people the STOLIMPICO tiny desk videos from a year ago. I almost wish I owed the mafia… then I’d actually get them done. LOL.
Maybe one day some of these marketing/promo related ideas will see the light of day. (“stolympics”, anyone?)
Ponderings
What does coexistence between contentment and productivity look like?
-
Do we confuse productivity for “drive”? Should we punish ourselves for possessing drive? Is limitless drive the punishment of ourselves?
-
Feeling grateful this week.
I hope you may find one thing to be grateful for.

Some questions I’m wondering. Reply to this email in one line or more, I’d love to hear.

Made any good investments recently? Let’s share the wealth and start a conversation.
What’s on your mind right now? What do you want to see happen?

an odd calmness washes over you…
